What is an Escape Room and can it be educational? An Escape Room (or Quest Room) is a physical or virtual room where a group of people have to solve a series of puzzles and clues to “escape” within a designated time. If you’ve ever been to an escape room, likely it was a recreational escape room, meaning the story behind the experience was just that, a story. The story behind an educational escape room seeks to teach the participants new knowledge about a topic and/or assess previously learned knowledge, but in an extra fun way!

Join this workshop to learn more about using virtual educational escape rooms to bolster student engagement (2:30 - 3:00pm) and how you can create a customized room for your in-person or virtual courses (3:00 - 3:30pm). Snacks and beverages provided!

*This event is eligible for NTT Timecard Entry.

Intended Audience: All faculty.

Facilitated by: Rhea Webb, CEE Assistant Director
