We are in a new era of teaching and learning where students have access to generative artificial intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT. In this session, we will discuss how you can strategically re-design your courses (and assignments, tests. etc.) to adapt in ways that fit your personal teaching style. You might encourage students to use it as part of their learning in your course: embrace it. You might explicitly coach students how to ethically use and cite it (navigate it). You might design assignments and exams that avoid students' use of it (minimize it). Or you might do a bit of all three! We'll offer ideas and examples on how.
