The CEE Team invites you to join us for a free 1-hour visit to the Chicano Park Museum & Cultural Center, guided by USD’s very own Dr. Alberto Pulido, Ethnic Studies, and Vice Chairperson CPMCC. Reflect on the inaugural exhibition “PILLARS: Stories of Resilience and Self-Determination”, a collective historical narrative of Chicano Park and Logan Heights.

This event is part of the CEE’s new Faculty Excursions initiative: Explore San Diego with the CEE. We coordinate all the logistics. You show up with a curious mind. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Learn something new that may inspire new teaching ideas.
  • Connect with colleagues across campus.
  • Visit unique and meaningful local spaces in San Diego.
