Laptop Checkouts

  • Both Apple MacBook Air and Lenovo ThinkPad laptops are available for checkout.
  • USD students can check out laptops for a 5-hour period. Students must have a valid USD ID card and sign a financial liability agreement.
  • Laptops may be used outside of the library, but not off campus.

Desktop Computer Workstations

  • Both PC and Mac workstations are available for use on the upper and lower levels.
  • Saving files to a USB drive is recommended as all data is cleared daily upon computer restart.
  • An ADA accessible workstation with the JAWS screen reader program is available on the lower level.

Audiovisual Viewers

  • The library has a media viewing space located on the first level. The media viewing space is equipped with a DVD player, a VHS player, and a microfilm/microfiche scanner.
  • All desktop workstations are equipped with a CD/DVD player.

Lockers

  • There are 42 lockers available on the ground floor for a one day loan.
  • 3 of the lockers are ADA accessible.

Group Study Rooms

  • All group study rooms are equipped with AirMedia Players that can be connected to your device via wifi or HDMI.
  • Visit the Access Services Desk to check out remotes, adapters, and white board markers.
