Details
The first Women Of Color (WOC) Summit was co-created by students, faculty and staff in 2018 with the goal of creating a community rooted in relationship building, vulnerability, and empowerment. By establishing a community of WOC and allies, a secondary goal is to generate more visibility of WOC at USD. These goals are accomplished through storytelling, small and large group dialogue, interactive art, written reflection and other creative expressions. This year’s theme will invite participants to explore holistic well-being and engage in culturally congruent self and community-care.
