Join us for the SOLES New Student Orientation for 2023-2024 incoming graduate and doctoral students! All new SOLES students are highly encouraged to attend. Orientation is your opportunity to explore USD, start building relationships with peers and faculty, familiarize yourself with campus resources, and learn more about your graduate program's expectations and requirements. We will ensure your first day of class is a successful one!
ID Card
If you want to receive your Student ID card at the event, you can indicate this preference in your Orientation registration. After you register for Orientation, please upload your picture at USD GET no later than August 11.

Important Reminders
PARKING:
Parking passes can be purchased in advance online. We recommend parking in the West Lot and from there you can take the free USD Tram up the hill to Mother Rosalie Hill Hall. Directions & Parking Instructions!HEALTH INSURANCE:
All USD full-time students are required to have health insurance. At the beginning of every academic year, students need to decide to enroll in or waive out of the USD Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). The Fall 2023 deadline to waive is September 11, 2023. If you do not submit a waiver by this date, you will be enrolled in the 2023-24 annual student health insurance plan, if you are qualified as full-time.REGISTER FOR CLASSES:
