Let's get fall semester ready to roll. Which syllabus needs some updating, revamping, or altogether reimagining? Grab it and join us for an afternoon of pizza, beer and syllabus design (drop-in anytime you’d like). We’ll help each other brainstorm how to infuse new elements or assignments into your course. You can browse the CEE's favorite slide decks for inspiration:
- Setting Up a Syllabus that Makes Sense
- Assignments for Deep Learning and Reduced Grading
- Liquid Syllabi
- Painless Grading: Is There Such a Thing?
Get tips on how to include elements such as:
- Active learning and experiential learning
- Authentic assignments such as case studies and problem-based learning
- Team-based learning and project-based learning
- Utilizing guest speakers in class
- Anything else you are curious about.
