Session II: Discovering the Power in Your Story
featuring Jessica Williams '16 PhD
Recorded April 11

In this session, Dr. Williams (she/her/hers) discusses how the liberation of all people begins with sovereignty of self. "If I had to give a name to the leadership challenge that I see with clients most often, it would be without question being stuck in limiting narratives. During my time of healing from sexual assault, I had to amend my internal narrative to one that honored the fullness of my humanity. 'And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.' - an exerpt from Dr. Williams’ workbook Inviting Your Whole Self to the Table: An Interactive Tool to Help Individuals Feel Empowered in Who You Are, As You Are, Wherever You Are available at www.JessicaJamese.com use code “TOREROS20” for 20% off through the end of April.
