Ken Schmitt is an entrepreneur, author, father, husband and movie buff! He has been recruiting for over 25 years, and launched his first company, TurningPoint Executive Search, in 2007. Over his career, Ken has placed over 1,000 professionals across industries and functions. In 2011, he also launched the Sales & Marketing Leadership Alliance, which now comprises over 100 members across throughout SoCal and across the U.S.

The team at TurningPoint continues to reach new heights and has twice been ranked as one of the Top 150 Fastest Growing Private Companies in San Diego. In 2018, Ken was acknowledged as one of San Diego’s Most Admired CEOs (SDBJ) and one year later, TurningPoint was acknowledge for being a “Best Company for Women”. In his spare time, Ken can be found at the movie theater or at home watching one of his 600+ DVDs, playing the banjo, or taking a walk on the beach in his hometown of Carlsbad, CA.
