Please join KPBS for a special live event with Brit Bennett, author of the 2022 One Book, One San Diego adult selection, "The Vanishing Half." One Book, One San Diego (OBOSD) is our region's premier literary program, presented in partnership between KPBS and over 80 public libraries, service organizations and educational institutions. USD is a participating university of the program and offers additional ways to get involved with OBOSD on campus, organized by Copley Library, the Center for Educational Excellence, and the Center for Inclusion and Diversity.
About the book: A #1 New York Times Bestseller, "The Vanishing Half" is a historical fiction novel about twin sisters, inseparable as children, who ultimately choose to live in two very different worlds, one black and one white.
