we chat alumnus Griff Harris '84, founder of the first Ultimate Frisbee Club at University of San Diego in 1982. We’ll chat about his USD experience, the process of starting the ultimate frisbee club and what he’s been up to since leaving Alcala Park. The event will conclude with a Q&A session.

More on Griff:
Griff studied Business Administration at the University of San Diego. While attending the university, he was on the USD Rugby Team in 1982 and the Co-Captain on the first USD Ultimate Frisbee Team from 1982-1984. He is the President of and Owner of Griffith E Harris Insurance Services. Griff is a lifelong resident of Greenwich, CT. He has 2 children (19, 16). In addition to that, Griff has an extensive sports resume. He is creator and founder of the Greenwich Old Timers “Coaches Lifetime Achievable Award” which annually recognizes an individual or individuals who best exemplified the spirit of excellence and commitment to the young athletes of our community over an extended period of time. The Greenwich Old Timers Athletic Association raises money for college scholarships and youth sports programs. 

Did you know? He was the founder of Greenwich Winter Club Men's Ice Hockey Team from 1996 to 2005. He continued to coach Ice Hockey throughout Greenwich from 1979-2017.
