Perhaps the most important chapter in the history of the University of San Diego School of Law's first 50 years would be the one about our students and graduates, because among the attributes that stand out most about the law school are their achievements.
Today, more than 11,000 University of San Diego law alumni are making an impact throughout the United States and the world. We are also proud of the major role the law school has played in shaping the San Diego legal community, with a large percentage of all attorneys in San Diego County having earned their law degree from USD. Our alumni are leaders —among them are federal and state judges; distinguished attorneys in private practice and the public sector; government officials; public interest activists; and corporate executives.
Our vision is to be among the very best at the important task of educating lawyers in this new century and, even more ambitiously, our objective is to train future leaders of the profession. The achievement of these objectives is well within our grasp with the continued partnership and support of our alumni and friends.
