The USD campus recently received an instructional bulletin sent by General Counsel and Information Technology Services detailing information about USD Policy 2.5.1 which prohibits storing personal files such as videos, photos and other documents on USD systems in order to assure the integrity of our systems and minimize costs.

The new ITS website is designed to enhance the user experience, with a focus on making it easier for students, faculty, and staff to find the information they need quickly and efficiently.

Instructional Designers, Alina Mitchell and Heather Leslie, from USD’s Learning Design Center received the Exemplary Course Award for the course EDUC-519: Instructional Design for Teacher Leaders in the online Master of Education (M.Ed.) program. Alina was the Subject Matter Expert and Instructor and Heather was the Instructional Designer for the course.

The new virtual presence for the Kroc School and its programs, institute and students debuts on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

More than just a website redesign, the USD 2.0 web project is a complete reimagining of USD's digital space. In fall 2020, the university launched a new USD home page , a new USD main website and new websites for the Undergraduate and Graduate Admission offices. The go-live was the culmination of nearly two years of collaborative work with stakeholders from across the university and delivered a web presence that will be sustainable for USD’s future web needs.

This past Monday was a big day for everyone at the University of San Diego. It marked a complete shift in way classes are taught across all disciplines. Teaching in the classroom, in a lab or in any other setting where faculty and students were together in person was suddenly not an option.

Twelve years later, Jess Koehler, co-owner of Ramona’s La Finquita Winery and Vineyard , can laugh about it. Her reaction to the first sip of wine she had after turning 21? "I thought it was disgusting. I quickly chased it with a sip of a vodka-mixed drink. And now, I own a winery."
